We are seeking an experienced Accounts Senior/Supervisor to join our team in Newcastle. This role involves preparing and reviewing statutory accounts and tax returns for a range of clients, with turnovers below the audit threshold.

The ideal candidate will have ACA or ACCA qualification, experience in client-facing environments, and exposure to SME and OMB markets. They should also possess excellent understanding of accounting and tax requirements and staff/client management skills.

This is an opportunity for career growth, as the firm offers genuine scope for development. The office is commutable from various areas across the North West, including Sunderland, Durham, North Shields, Alnwick, and Blyth. Flexible working is encouraged, allowing for minimal travel into the office.

Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 per annum.
Requirements:

  1. ACA / ACCA Qualified
  2. AAT & QBE considered
  3. Excellent understanding of accounting and tax requirements of SMEs
  4. Experience of staff and client management
