Job Title: Sports Coach

Location: Pontefract, WF9

Salary: £85-£100 per day

We are seeking a Sports Coach to support Primary schools across Pontefract. The ideal candidate will have a background in Sports/Fitness working with children ages 5-11.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver sports coaching lessons to Primary school students
  • Act as a General Teaching Assistant when not required as a Sports Coach
  • Support the Class Teacher with PE lessons
  • Manage classroom behaviour
Requirements:
  • Eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
  • Willingness to travel
  • Sports background
  • Experience working with Primary aged pupils
  • Overseas criminal clearance or willingness to apply
  • Child enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply
  • Minimum of six months UK residency
  • We do not accept those on skilled worker visas
  • Please ensure you have references available upon request covering the last 24 months of employment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
