Wood is seeking a Health, Safety, Security and Environmental Manager to support our Process and Energy Service Line across the UK.
This role could be based in one of our UK offices.
Essential
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent.
- Trained and competent Internal Auditor.
- RCA – Accident/incident Investigator Training, . 5 Why / Helix / Taproot.
- Membership of a recognised HSSE related institute . IOSH, MIIRSM, IEMA etc.
Desirable
- ONC/HNC or equivalent in Technical, HSEQ or related industry.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- 8+ years HSE experience, preferably with some exposure to roles with supporting multi-contract/location portfolios.
- Some experience practicing HSSE in the Oil & Gas or similar high-hazard sector is preferred.
- Knowledge of HSSE standards and legal requirements.
- Experience of working with Quality and HSSE Management Systems.
- Experience leading a team is required.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills.
- Knowledge of internal and external audits and third-party certification audit practices.
