Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Site Surveyor to join our Geospatial Network Records team at UK Power Networks. As a Site Surveyor, you will be responsible for recording and updating network changes, ensuring the accuracy and quality of our GIS records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct site surveys to record network changes and updates
  • Validate and process site data to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Collaborate with the Geospatial Network Records team to maintain and update our GIS records
  • Work with contractors and business stakeholders to ensure seamless data exchange
  • Provide training and guidance to field staff and contractors on site recording techniques

Requirements

  • Experience in site recording, surveying techniques, and drafting
  • Relevant qualifications or experience in GIS, cartography, surveying, art, or design
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Full UK driving license and ability to travel to sites
  • Proficient in Microsoft desktop applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
