About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Network Service Technician to join our team at Thames Water. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for resolving customer network challenges and ensuring minimal disruption to customer supply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Network Resolution: Take personal ownership of customer queries and respond to and resolve issues at their homes or places of work.
  • Collaboration and Investigation: Collaborate with contractors to do planned and unplanned work and investigate clean water networks to resolve poor performance, including high or low pressure, leakage, metering queries, and loss of supply.
  • Emergency Response: Help control burst mains, ensuring isolation to facilitate planned work, emergency repairs, and maintenance.
  • Valve Operations and Water Sampling: Look after valve operations and water sampling, and perform valve checks and planning.
  • Teamwork and Flexibility: Work well within a team, covering core and standby hours through all hours of the day.
Requirements
  • Customer Service Experience: Have excellent customer service experience and a can-do and positive attitude.
  • Initiative and Time Management: Be initiative-taking and have excellent time management skills.
  • Solution-Focused: Have a solution-focused attitude and be assured of completing tasks to the best of your ability.
  • Driving License: Hold a full UK driving license and be happy to drive between jobs.
