We are seeking a highly skilled mechanical engineer to lead technical design packages, agreeing project objectives, managing designer performance, and providing subject matter expert advice.

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior technical engineer to support our clients by improving the capability, reliability and availability of their critical assets.

The role is initially for 12 months and involves hybrid working, with most time spent remotely and onsite visits once a month.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Design Packages: Manage technical design packages, agreeing project objectives, managing designer performance, and providing subject matter expert advice.
  • Design Documentation: Produce high-quality design documentation that meets project requirements, standards, schedule, and budget.
  • Project Planning: Plan effective project implementation, identifying key factors, and leading technical planning processes.

In addition, you will ensure staff and contractors are aware of work-related hazards and risks through effective management.

We estimate this role's salary to be around £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, based on industry standards in the UK. Please note that this is an estimated figure and may vary based on individual qualifications and experience.
