We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineering 3D Technician to join our team at Matchtech. This permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your skills in Civil3D and work on significant highways projects including junctions and roundabouts.

  • Develop detailed designs for highways projects using Civil3D software.
  • Create and modify drawings and plans for junctions and roundabouts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with engineering principles.
  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure design accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians, promoting knowledge sharing and career growth.
  • Conduct site surveys and assessments as required, applying your expertise in civil engineering principles and practices.
  • Maintain and organise project documentation and records, adhering to relevant health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Presentation of design proposals and participation in project meetings, showcasing your communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Requirements
  • Expertise in using Civil3D software, with a strong understanding of its applications in highway design.
  • Experience in designing and detailing highways, junctions, and roundabouts, demonstrating your proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
  • Understanding of engineering principles and practices, with a solid grasp of mathematical concepts and analytical techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in design work, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet client expectations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.
