Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Commercial and Insurance Underwriter to join our team at The Recruiter Ltd. As a key member of our underwriting team, you will be responsible for producing renewal and mid-term amendment quotations in line with underwriting guides and business operating standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce accurate and compliant renewal and mid-term adjustments in line with pricing levels, risk selection criteria, and ensure that income and conversion objectives are achieved.
  • Oversee all administrative duties required in connection to the above, including processing and administering policy documentation, initiating and monitoring surveys, mid-term adjustments, renewal review and negotiation, and claims monitoring.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all customer contact and ensure the delivery of high-quality service, appropriate to the needs of brokers or insurers.
  • Proven understanding of commercial existing business underwriting.
  • Good understanding of commercial business, including commercial combined and property classes.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally, and a positive attitude are essential for this role.
