Teaching Geography at A-Level: A Rewarding Career Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Geography educator to join our dynamic team at Wayman Learning Trust, a well-regarded central London secondary school. As a KS5 Geography Teacher, you will play a crucial role in inspiring a love of geography in our students and equipping them with valuable knowledge and skills.

About the Role:

  • You will deliver engaging and stimulating Geography lessons for A-Level students, fostering their critical thinking skills and encouraging exploration of the world around them.
  • You will utilize a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and ensure all students reach their full potential.
  • You will contribute to curriculum development, ensuring it aligns with national requirements and the latest advancements in geographical pedagogy.
  • You will collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Geography department and across the school to ensure a cohesive and engaging program.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • You hold a proven track record of success in engaging students and developing their geographical understanding at the KS5 level.
  • You possess excellent subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring a love of geography in students of all abilities.
  • You have strong pedagogical skills and the ability to deliver innovative and effective lessons that cater to diverse learning styles.
  • You are committed to high standards and can create a positive, stimulating, and supportive learning environment.

What We Offer:
