Sports Coach Job Opportunity: Colchester United is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Part Time Sports Coach to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality PE & Sport Mentorship to 9,000 children, young people, and adults across North Essex. Your main responsibilities will include planning, delivering, and reviewing projects in community, football/sport, and school environments, adopting our delivery methodology and national curriculum schemes of work.

About the Role: This role requires you to develop positive relationships and partnerships with colleagues, participants, players, parents/guardians within each community setting. You will also support and empower colleagues to collaborate and share ideas to aid in personal and professional development. Furthermore, you will evaluate individual development weekly and the impact on engagement and quality of delivery on a weekly basis.

Requirements: To be considered for this position, you must have an NGB level 2 Coaching Award (e.g. UEFA C Football Coaching License/Level 2 Multi Skills Coaching Award) or be working towards it. Additionally, you should have an FA Safeguarding Children Certificate, CUFC Enhanced DBS Check, Full UK Driving License, and an understanding of the Primary PE & PSHE National Curriculum.
