Candidates for the Customs Clerk position at CEVA Logistics will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of customs clearances for our air, ocean, and road freight customers.

This pivotal role requires a customer-centric approach, with regular communication and engagement with customers to build and maintain first-class relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all customs clearances are actioned on goods entering the UK
  • Utilize Cargowise, Destin8, and CNS systems to claim inventory links and add to customs entries
  • Prevent errors or oversights on documentation through high attention to detail and accuracy

Requirements

Candidates should have proven customs clearance or imports experience, with previous experience in freight forwarding operations.

They must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to build strong customer relationships.

Able to work in a team environment, with natural problem-solving skills, and a great attention to detail.

Candidates should also have IT literacy experience in using MS packages and previous experience with Cargowise would be desirable.
