Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Diagnostic Ultrasound Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sonography department, you will be responsible for providing general abdominal, pelvic, small parts, lumps and bumps, and vascular ultrasound scanning services.

Responsibilities:

  • To provide high-quality ultrasound scanning services to patients, working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
  • To independently perform ultrasound scanning duties to the required standards of Diagnostic World and client partners.
  • To produce clinical reports for each ultrasound scan undertaken, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • To undertake any administrative duties necessary for the speedy progression of patients and patient results.
  • To actively participate in matters concerning clinical governance, clinical audit, and assessment.
  • To have responsibility for ensuring active participation in continuing professional development (CPD).
  • To adhere to company policy and procedures in terms of health and safety, data protection, and confidentiality.

Requirements:

  • Post Graduate Diploma in Medical Ultrasound or equivalent.
  • Registration with the HCPC and SOR or RCT.
  • 2 years post-qualification experience gained in NHS trust practice.
  • The ability to work proficiently in all main areas of ultrasound practice.

Location: Our clinics are based in North West Surrey, with flexible working hours available Monday to Sunday.
