About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Financial Advisor to join our European Debt Advisory team in London. As an Associate Director, you will be responsible for leading debt advisory engagements and managing junior staff.

With a strong understanding of debt markets, banking, and financial structuring, you will work alongside senior practitioners advising boards, management teams, lenders, and shareholders on capital structure optimisation. Your expertise will help companies raise or refinance debt, leveraging our independent approach, investor experience, and diverse lender network.

As a key member of our team, you will have opportunities to develop your skills through a diverse range of transactions, including acquisition financing, growth capital, capital structure optimisation, stressed refinancings, and covenant resets. You will also collaborate with our restructuring colleagues and benefit from seamless integration into the wider Teneo network across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage specific workstreams on debt advisory engagements
  • Project manage parts of an engagement, providing support to senior members of the team
  • Develop, analyse, and present financing options
  • Liaise with lawyers to understand key aspects of legal documentation
  • Actively manage risk throughout the engagement
