Job Title: Senior Facilities Director

We are seeking a skilled Senior Facilities Director to join our team at Broadcom Inc.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading our Northern Europe portfolio in a high-profile and fast-paced environment. This position will oversee day-to-day building operations, third-party contract management, capital/expenditure project management, strategic planning, and key stakeholder interface.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree (preferable) but not required. A minimum of 15 years of related experience and/or training is necessary. Additionally, you must possess excellent communication skills, leadership abilities, and a proven track record of managing third-party O&M Facility engineering providers.

Responsibilities:
  • Leads by example and models behaviors consistent with the company's values;
  • Proven leadership of third-party O&M Facility engineering providers;
  • Excellent communications skills and ability to effectively interact with end-users and executive leadership;
  • Excellent organization and advanced project management skills;
  • Experience in financial management and identifying cost savings related to facilities management;
  • Proven ability to build and sustain high-functioning, cohesive teams;
  • Ability and willingness to engage at a hands-on level to help collaboratively solve facility-related issues;
  • Proven experience leading or partnering with Hospitality Teams, EH&S, Physical Security, Occupancy Planning, Leasing Administration, and Procurement.
Requirements:
  • English fluency, including the ability to read, write, and present;
  • Facility/Project Management certification and Advanced Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) Degree preferred;
  • Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex business documents;
  • Ability to respond effectively to sensitive issues;
  • Ability to write reports and presentations using distinctive style;
  • Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, end-users, and/or top management;
  • Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, top management, and user groups to take desired action;
  • Requires in-depth knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial terms, and principles;
  • Prepares complex financial/business analysis;
  • Ability to analyze the most complex business/financial data and develop innovative solutions;
  • Develops and implements policies and procedures;
  • Approves and oversees department budget;
  • Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations;
  • Expert-level analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in developing strategic solutions for a growing semiconductor real estate portfolio;
  • Drawing upon the analysis of others and making recommendations that have a direct impact on the company;
  • Ability to use work order systems;
  • Working knowledge of architectural, electrical, and mechanical systems;
  • Working knowledge of leases, contracts, and related documents;
  • Experience with M&A activity and production/fab environments highly desired.
