Stakeholder Relations Professional
As a Stakeholder Relations Professional at National Highways, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our reputation and fostering positive relationships with stakeholders.

This role offers flexibility in terms of location, allowing you to work from any of our National Highways offices across the UK.

The key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Developing high-quality written briefings, reports, correspondence, and other materials to support stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Coordinating evaluation activities to assess the effectiveness of our External Affairs programme and internal reporting on stakeholder engagement.
  • Managing parliamentary and stakeholder monitoring services, sharing actionable intelligence within the External Affairs team.
  • Promoting best practices and common engagement principles to enhance the quality of stakeholder engagement across National Highways.
  • Ensuring that External Affairs activity is visible to the wider Communications group, contributing to the gridding and planning process and representing the team at relevant internal meetings.

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Some experience or interest in External Affairs, Public Affairs, Government Relations, and/or strategic stakeholder engagement.
  • An organized and flexible approach, with a proactive attitude towards delivering good outcomes and attention to detail.

Estimated Salary Range: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum
