Risk Management Specialist

The Safeguarding Officer will be responsible for addressing safeguarding concerns in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring the well-being of students, especially those facing challenges such as mental health or being care leavers.
- Handle safeguarding enquiries via email and phone, adhering to guidelines.
- Support high-needs students, including ESOL learners, young parents, and vulnerable adults, to help them stay in their courses.
- Provide immediate support to ensure young people and vulnerable adults are safe.
The role requires collaboration with other teams to ensure smooth transitions and ongoing support for high-needs students. Maintaining up-to-date electronic records is also essential.
Key Requirements
- Able to start ASAP
- Safeguarding experience
- Enhanced DBS
- Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with vulnerable people
Estimated Salary: £28k-£32k (dependent on location and experience).
