Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team at Ignition Careers. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely operating a fully branded HGV vehicle, trunking from depot to depot, and maintaining accurate records of your driving hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vehicle Operations: Drive a fully branded HGV vehicle, adhering to all relevant safety regulations and company policies.
  • Logistics and Delivery: Trunk from depot to depot, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform regular pre- and post-shift vehicle checks to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Hours of Service: Maintain accurate records of your driving hours, adhering to Working Time Regulations.

Working Hours:

  • Shift Options: Both day and night shifts are available, with start times of 0800 or 2000.
  • Shift Duration: Approximately 10 hours per shift.
  • Working Days: Monday to Friday.

Requirements:

  • Class 1 Driving Licence: Must have a valid Class 1 driving licence.
  • Experience: At least 12 months of experience driving a Class 1 vehicle.
  • Certifications: Must have an up-to-date Tacho Digi Card and an up-to-date DCPC Card.
  • Driving Record: Must have a clean driving record, with no more than 6 points on your licence.
