The Neaco Central Team is responsible for ensuring that all partners are working towards common objectives and reporting to the Office for Students (OfS) on the progress of the project.

The Neaco Project Administrator will be a member of the Neaco Central Team and is managed on a day-to-day basis by the Neaco Project Coordinator.

The primary responsibility for the Neaco Project Administrator is the administration of the Central Team's operations, including supporting our communications strategy, as well as providing or supporting the team's key functions in finance, communications, partner coordination and data support.

The Neaco Project Administrator will also directly support the Central Team, and network partners where required.

The Neaco Project Administrator will be expected to maintain a good operational understanding of the project and productive working relationships across the region, in order to manage tasks and enquiries both internal and external and ensure partners can work together effectively.

Flexible working is possible for this post and the postholder will be expected to spend some time in our offices in central Cambridge. There will be some opportunities for travel to our partner sites across East Anglia.

Your Skills
  • Experience of working in an office environment, preferably in an education setting
  • IT skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office such as Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams
  • Excellent administrative skills, including the ability to sort, process and act on information quickly and accurately with high attention to detail
  • Knowledge and expertise in filing systems and record keeping
  • The ability to deal with large quantities of electronic documents and records in an efficient and effective way
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively and deal confidently and sensitively with a wide range of people including students, teachers, careers advisers, undergraduate students and academics
  • A flexible approach and to assist with a range of tasks both within the Neaco Team and the wider Office. Occasional working outside of normal office hours may be required, which is compensated with TOIL.
