About the Role

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Building Surveyor to join our team. As a Building Surveyor, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of instructions and projects across commercial properties, offices, retail, industrial, and housing providers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake full Building Surveying Services, including survey and report writing for a range of professional building surveying services, including TDD, Dilapidations, Building Surveys, BRCA's, and PPM's.
  • Carry out both professional and project-based work, including line management of staff, coaching, and motivating newly Chartered Surveyors.
  • Deliver project work, which can range from £50k to £5 million, performing the role of Designer, Contract Administrator, Project Manager, or Employers Agent.
  • Manage and grow key client accounts, contributing to the Training Academy, supporting, mentoring, training, and guiding junior members of staff through their journey.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree (min 2.1 or equivalent) in Building Surveying / Quantity Surveying.
  • Project Management Qualified (APM affiliation / Prince 2).
  • Good pre and post-contract experience.
  • Excellent working knowledge of JCT contracts and experience of acting in the capacity of Contract Administrator or Employer's Agent.
  • Willingness to travel across the UK as needed to meet client requirements and pursue opportunities.
