Mathematical Modeling Specialist

We seek an exceptional Mathematical Modeling Specialist with expertise in data modeling to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mathematical modeling, statistical analysis, and proficiency in working with large datasets. In this role, you'll develop predictive models, analyze complex datasets, and provide actionable insights to coaching, scouting, and management teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement mathematical models to assess player performance, team dynamics, and game outcomes.
  • Analyze extensive datasets to uncover trends and patterns supporting recruitment, game strategy, and performance enhancement.
  • Collaborate with data science, coaching, and scouting teams to translate data-driven insights into impactful on-field strategies.
  • Leverage advanced statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to forecast player development and injury probabilities.
  • Maintain predictive models to inform talent identification and acquisition strategy.

Requirements:

  • Doctoral degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Experience in mathematical modeling, preferably within sports analytics or a comparable industry.
  • Proficiency in data science and statistical software like Python, R, or MATLAB.
  • Experience with data visualization and communicating complex findings.
  • Passion for football and a desire to innovate within the sports analytics domain.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team.

The compensation package for this role is estimated at $110,000 - $140,000 annually, based on experience.
