Starbank School in Birmingham is a large all-through school for pupils aged 3 to 16 years old. We have over 2,000 pupils and are based across three sites in close proximity to each other. Our school is part of Star Academies, a high-performing multi-academy trust that runs more than 30 primary and secondary schools.
Job OpportunityWe are seeking a talented individual to help foster a caring and supportive learning environment for our young people. As Assistant Head of Year, you will play a key role in maintaining positive relationships with students and other adults, and ensuring the welfare of our learners is at the heart of the school.
Key Responsibilities- Support the development of a positive and inclusive school culture.
- Work closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure the needs of all students are met.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of pastoral care policies and procedures.
