Hours: Various shifts, including day and night shifts, Monday to Friday and weekends

Rate: £19.00 per hour - £41.50 per hour

Job Description:

Gi Group is seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Class 1 driver to join our team. As a driver for one of our national clients, you will be responsible for transporting mail items and parcels throughout the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive a Class I vehicle, following a planned route from the client's site in Norwich to customers and other depots across the UK
  • Transport mail items and parcels, maintaining high integrity standards and demonstrating a friendly customer service
  • Meet the requirements and skills outlined below

Requirements and Skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years driving experience and at least 6 months of Class 1 driving experience in the last 2 years
  • HGV Class 1 (C+E) license, Driver CPC, and DIGI Cards
  • Motoring convictions starting with the code SP for speeding offences are acceptable, up to a maximum of 6 points
  • Minimum of 2 years checkable work history
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, flexibility, and a positive attitude
