At Avery Healthcare, we're committed to providing exceptional care to our residents. As a Care Assistant, you'll play a vital role in delivering high standards of personal care, ensuring the continuity of services and contributing to a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist residents with their personal hygiene care, promoting independence, dignity, and respect at all times.
• Recognise and understand clinical risk areas, such as weight loss, pressure sores, and risk of falls, and escalate any identified risks in a timely manner.
• Act courteously towards residents and their visitors, respecting their dignity and individuality.
• Practice safe systems of work across a range of tasks.
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll need to live our values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable in all that you do. Experience is not required, as we offer a thorough induction and training programme to ensure confidence in your role. Our ideal candidate will have the ability to communicate effectively, demonstrate initiative, and be respectful towards residents and other people in the home.
