Flood Risk Engineer Leader

We are seeking a highly experienced Flood Risk Engineer to lead our Water Team in Scotland, England, and Ireland. As a Principal Hydrologist, you will be responsible for delivering Flood Risk Assessments, Hydrological Assessments, and Drainage Strategies. Your technical expertise, leadership skills, and business acumen will drive and sustain success in our client's growth.
Your Key Responsibilities:- Lead the delivery of Flood Risk Assessments, Hydrological Assessments, and Drainage Strategies.
- Manage projects and foster strong client relationships.
- Provide technical guidance, support, and training to junior colleagues.
- Work on diverse flood, coastal, and maritime projects for clients, including Local Authorities and private developers.
- Support clients in managing water, flooding, and coastal environments sustainably and innovatively.
- Coordinate, quality assure, and lead the delivery of Flood Risk Assessments, Surface Water Management Plans, and hydrological assessments.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff, managing small teams on a project and supervisory basis.
