Contract Type: Permanent
Hours per week: Full time and Part time

About the Role:As a Community Reablement Assistant at Hampshire County Council, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals who have experienced a major setback in life to regain their independence and confidence.
Our Reablement Service is designed to help service users regain the ability to perform daily tasks, manage their continence needs, and regain control of their lives.
You will work closely with service users to provide practical hands-on support, verbal guidance, and encouragement to help them achieve their goals.
We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated, and patient individuals with a caring personality and attitude who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others.
As a Community Reablement Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team, receive continuous training and development, and progress quickly in your career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide practical support to service users to regain independence with daily tasks
- Work closely with service users to set and achieve goals
- Provide verbal guidance and encouragement to service users
- Collaborate with the Reablement Team to ensure seamless service delivery
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current drivers' licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A caring and patient personality
- A willingness to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
