About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our Marine & Engineering Systems FP&A team at Babcock. As a member of this high-performing finance group, you will play a critical role in supporting all month-end, budget, and forecast reporting processes for the business unit.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the preparation of journals, adhering to Group and Sector standards and timescales.
- Collaborate with project and functional teams to control costs and understand movements and variances from budget.
- Contribute to finance and site-wide continuous improvement projects.
- Assist with finance transformation agenda.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in a similar role.
- Proven experience of using an ERP system (IFS / SAP would be desirable).
