Job Title: Minibus Driver

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Minibus Driver to join our team and work for a major client who provides essential transport services for children and adults with special needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive minibuses on a daily basis, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of passengers during transportation.
  • Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking the minibus.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the minibus.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to provide excellent customer service.

Requirements:

  • Essential:
    • D1 qualification on driving license
    • MIDAS qualification
    • Excellent driving record - no more than 6 points for minor offences only
    • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and late afternoons
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards individuals with special needs
    • Physically fit to handle the demands of the role
  • Preferred:
    • Enhanced DBS certificate - We will apply for one on your behalf if required to.
