Early Years Practitioner

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our team at Davenport Lodge Nursery School. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing a high-quality education and care for our young children.
Key Responsibilities- To work closely with the nursery team to deliver a curriculum that meets the needs of all children.
- To assess and record children's progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness.
- To develop and implement effective learning strategies to support children's learning and development.
- To maintain accurate and up-to-date records of children's progress and development.
- To work collaboratively with parents and carers to ensure that children receive the best possible education and care.
- A Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience working with young children, particularly 2-5 year olds.
- Experience of working with children and families, identifying support for developing children's learning.
- A good knowledge and understanding of the EYFS and relevant current legislation.
- A good understanding of the developmental needs of young children, particularly 2- to 5-year-olds.
