Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing expenditure, identifying cost-efficient solutions, and developing reports to support business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and control manufacturing product cost models
- Produce and improve costings/bill of materials and product pricing
- Implement weekly production reports and production variance reporting
- Conduct margin analysis of both manufactured and bought-in products
- Perform stock valuation and review of obsolescence
- Work closely with R&D, Sales, Operations, and Product Management teams to manage business profitability
- Own the inventory process end-to-end, including the annual cost roll process
- Reconcile stock and products at customers/suppliers and balance sheet reconciliations
- Support Purchase and Sales Ledger and ad-hoc finance projects
Requirements:
- CCAB Qualified Accountant/Cost Accountant/SAP S4 HANA
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
