About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Support Worker to join our team at Ty Seren in Gowerton, Swansea. As a key member of our residential home, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with complex needs associated with autism.

Job Overview:

This is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and making a positive impact on people's lives. You will be responsible for providing personalised support to each individual, fostering a safe and positive environment, and implementing individualised care plans under the guidance of a supportive senior team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to each person in their daily activities, including personal care, learning, and social interactions.
  • Foster a secure and encouraging environment, ensuring the emotional and physical well-being of each person.
  • Develop and implement individualised care plans, working collaboratively with the wider team.
  • Support individuals during recreational activities, outings, and community integration.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, promoting independence, self-esteem, and confidence in our service users.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.

  • Flexibility to work on a shift basis, including weekends and occasional night shifts.
