About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Commercial and Contract Manager, reporting to the Senior Commercial Manager. As a key member of our client team, you will be responsible for managing and administering commercial aspects of contracts, including quotation preparation, change management, early warnings, and other contractual events.

You will work closely with the contract management team and senior stakeholders to develop and implement commercial strategies, provide subject matter expertise, and coordinate with various teams to ensure project progress.

  • Manage and negotiate complex contractual events from inception to implementation.
  • Develop and implement commercial strategies to respond to emergent contractual topics and issues.
  • Provide commercial and contractual subject matter expertise to Engineering teams in the UK and France.
  • Analyse and present financial, contractual, and commercial data to internal project teams and clients.
  • Coordinate with Change, Cost, Risk, and Schedule teams to ensure coherent project progress.
Key Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of 8 years' experience in Contract Management on complex industrial projects, with knowledge of best practice contract methodologies.
  • Knowledge of risk and claims management, specifically in the UK energy sector.
  • Familiarity with UK law and its impact on contractual functions.

We offer a competitive salary range of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including a pension scheme, annual leave, and professional fees reimbursement.
