About the Role

As a qualified Contact Lens Optician at Boots Opticians, you will be providing exceptional customer care and expert advice to make a real difference to our customers. You will work in-store across our clinics and the wider store to support the day-to-day operations, reporting to the Store Manager/Hub Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize your passion for delivering patient care to work with colleagues to deliver a positive customer journey.

• Build longstanding relationships with colleagues, customers, and healthcare professionals in the local community to explore opportunities for delivering enhanced services.

• Leverage your up-to-date knowledge of Contact Lens technology and spectacle dispensing to train and develop the wider optical team.

• Validate complex prescriptions and vulnerable groups, providing expert knowledge for patients with more specialist requirements.

• Supervise a Student Contact Lens Optician/Student Dispensing Optician and contribute to their development.

• Full GOC registration

• Qualified Contact Lens Optician
