About the Role:

Voyage Care is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Support Worker to join our team in Clacton. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in leading our supported living service, providing exceptional care and support to individuals with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring the highest standards of care and support are maintained.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, working closely with the Manager and other team members to ensure the best possible outcomes for our service users.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior staff members, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
  • Collaborate with external agencies and professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Senior Support Worker or in a similar role, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality care and support.
  • Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or a related field.
  • Experience working with individuals with autism, acquired brain injury, complex mental health needs, traumatic backgrounds, and challenging behaviors.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with service users, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the service.
