We are seeking a skilled HR Advisor to join our team at McGregor Boyall. As an HR Advisor, you will play a crucial role in providing effective HR advisory and administration services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and develop managers in matters of employee relations, including disciplinary and grievance issues, working with trade unions.
  • Provide guidance on HR policies and processes.
  • Oversee the administration of employment records and related documents.
  • Support HR projects and initiatives.
  • Deliver induction training for new starters.
  • Assist with all aspects of recruitment and selection.
  • Be the primary point of contact for managers and employees on all people matters.
  • Maintain data and manage the HRIS.
  • Produce management information reports.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a HR role, HR advisory or officer, within a busy working environment.
  • Excellent understanding of employment law.
  • Good understanding of employee relation matters.
  • Exposure to unions and TUPE.
  • HR operational experience.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.
