**Job Description:**

We're seeking an experienced Apparel Art Director to join our in-house design team at Footasylum's Head Office in Rochdale. As an Apparel Art Director, you'll be responsible for creating original brand-appropriate artworks, placement prints, repeats, and branding packs across all multi-product categories.

About the Role:

  • You'll research new trends and produce customer trend analysis boards.
  • You'll travel to UK stores and attend research trips for inspiration.
  • You'll identify the Footasylum customer by attending international and UK festivals and social events.
  • You'll create initial new designs to present to brand managers/buyers.
  • You'll demonstrate excellent understanding of different print techniques and innovating embellishment/print techniques.
  • You'll produce clear, concise technical Graphic CAD design specifications within specified time frames.
  • You'll utilise advanced knowledge of hand illustration, Photoshop, and Illustrator packages.

About You: We're looking for someone with a minimum of 2 years' experience working within the high-street fashion industry. You should have excellent knowledge of print techniques, hand illustration, Photoshop, and Illustrator packages. Your expertise in Adobe Creative Suite will enable you to innovate and push the boundaries of apparel graphics.

Salary Range: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.
