Logistics Planning Manager

Job Description:
Interaction Recruitment is seeking an experienced Logistics Planning Manager to join our team at our Peterlee office. This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, with typical shifts from 06:30 to 17:30. However, we may require flexibility with earlier starts, later finishes, and weekend work.
As a Logistics Planning Manager, you will be responsible for planning and managing loads to achieve agreed KPI levels. You will ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with road transport directives and EU driver's rules and regulations.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to liaise with customers and depots to ensure all targets and deliveries are met. They will also be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and up-to-date scheduling of work on traffic management systems.
Main Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage loads to achieve agreed KPI levels
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with road transport directives and EU driver's rules and regulations
- Liaise with customers and depots to ensure all targets and deliveries are met
- Monitor vehicle gross weights and ensure compliance with administrative tasks
Estimated Salary: £42,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
