This is a long-term supply role providing maternity cover, offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic team and make a significant impact on the lives of students. As a seasoned Food Technology Teacher, you will have the responsibility of instructing students in the principles and practices of food technology, including food preparation, nutrition, and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum standards for food technology.
  • Instruct students in the principles and practices of food technology, including food preparation, nutrition, and safety.
  • Assess student progress, provide feedback, and support individual learning needs.
  • Maintain an organized and well-equipped food technology laboratory.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to integrate food technology into broader educational initiatives.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with advancements in food technology education.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in food technology or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching food technology at the secondary school level.
  • Strong knowledge of food technology principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Passion for teaching and inspiring students in the field of food technology.

We offer a competitive salary of approximately £40,000 - £60,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as exclusive benefits such as weekly pay through PAYE, high street discounts, travel discounts, gym membership discounts, and physical and emotional well-being services.
