Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of steel fabrication contracts, including contract administration, project planning, and budget management. Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project delivery according to specifications and timelines.
- Preparing project schedules, budgets, and cost estimates for steel fabrication projects.
- Monitoring project progress, quality control, and safety compliance.
- Resolving issues, managing change orders, and ensuring contract compliance.
- Preparing and submitting project progress reports to senior management and clients.
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- Proven experience in steel fabrication project management and contract administration.
- Strong knowledge of steel fabrication processes, materials, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Steel project management experience: 3 years (preferred).
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Driving Licence (preferred).
- CSCS card for site visits (preferred).
- Competitive salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum.
- Overtime: paid at Time + 1/3 after 40 hours / Sundays at Double Time / Bank Holidays at Double time plus a day in lieu.
