Tourism Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a FIT & Groups Coordinator. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of our group tours and FIT programs.

• Make reservations for hotels, tour guides, coaches, visitor attractions, and tour activities
• Research destinations, source, and negotiate competitive rates with suppliers, complete tour costings and quotations
• Plan and implement travel itineraries
• Liaise with clients and suppliers daily
• Complete invoices to agents/clients
• Prepare travel documents
• Monitor incoming payments from agents/clients
• Perform general office duties

• Previous experience in hotel reservations, tour operator, or travel agency with relevant diploma/certificate and proven knowledge of the tourism industry
• Good knowledge of the geography of Ireland
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and as a team player
• Effective time management skills with ability to prioritize work schedules
• Highly motivated and ability to work on own initiative
• Excellent administration skills, organized, systematic, with great attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and switch seamlessly from task to task
• Computer literate, advanced Microsoft Word/Excel user, knowledge of booking systems and CRM systems
• Knowledge of the Tourplan booking system desirable
• Fluent English speaker with excellent written and verbal skills
