Job Title: Porter

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Porter to join our team at PMR. As a Porter, you will be the first point of contact for residents and visitors, providing an efficient and courteous service at all times.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the buildings are kept in a clean and tidy condition, and the day-to-day operations are running smoothly.
  • Patrol the site regularly to ensure all tasks are complete, and residents and visitors are attended to.
  • Deal with and refer first-line enquires/issues from residents and visitors to the Property Manager.
  • Take in parcels when requested for absent residents.
  • Greet and direct delivery drivers and visitors to the relevant property.
  • Approach unknown persons and guide them or take action where necessary.
  • Give utility company representatives access to the back doors to check meters.
  • Keep residents' keys (and burglar alarm codes) secure at all times when in possession of them.
  • Record details including date and time of issue, identity of key, issuer and recipient to whom returned in the log when the key is returned.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
