About Stride Resourcing

We are a leading house builder seeking a highly experienced Safety, Health & Environment Advisor to oversee the safe planning, delivery, and review of complex construction and maintenance projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with strong NEBOSH Construction or equivalent diploma qualifications and experience in residential construction or Tier 1 contracting. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with CDM Regulations, implementing policies to reduce risk and support a positive SHE culture, and promoting the company's SHE approach through site visits and meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Compliance and Risk Management
    • Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations, adhering to all relevant laws and standards.
    • Implement effective policies to minimize risks and foster a culture of safety, health, and well-being within the organization.
  • SHE Promotion and Training
    • Promote the company's SHE approach through regular site visits and meetings, engaging with employees at all levels.
    • Provide expert guidance and training on safety, health, and environmental best practices.
  • Incident Reporting and Investigation
    • Conduct thorough investigations into SHE incidents, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
    • Effectively communicate incident outcomes to relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Maintain open and transparent communication with the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and other regulatory bodies.
    • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless implementation of SHE strategies.

    • A competitive salary of ££70,000 - £80,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
