About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursery Assistant to join our team at GSL Education. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations and development of young children in a nursery or early childhood setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise children during playtime, meals, and outdoor activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Assist in daily care routines, including feeding, diaper changing, and maintaining hygiene standards.
  • Engage children in play-based learning activities that promote creativity, exploration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Support indoor and outdoor play, creating a safe and inclusive environment for all students.
  • Communicate effectively with parents about their child's daily activities and progress.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as record-keeping and preparing learning materials.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Strong listening skills to understand and respond to the needs of children and their families.
