Job Opportunity: Interim HR Manager

Elevation Recruitment Group is seeking a highly skilled Interim HR Manager to support a key FMCG client in the Nottingham area. The successful candidate will be responsible for all site HR activity, working closely with the senior leadership team to promote effective employee and industrial relations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure alignment of people and performance with the daily operational needs of the business
  • Collaborate with the GM and site managers on HR matters, including people performance, ER, IR, Occupational Health, recruitment, and operational change
  • Identify training and development needs, sourcing and arranging on-the-job and external training as required
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with recognized unions
  • Manage HR requirements for ethical auditing, including adherence to working time regulations and support for ethical initiatives
Requirements:
  • Demonstrable experience in a generalist HR role, with a strong understanding of best practice and partnering with management teams to deliver against people and/or business strategies
  • HR management experience gained within FMCG, manufacturing, or logistics environments, with a proven ability to work in fast-paced and high-volume activity
  • Previous experience working in a unionized environment
  • Minimum of CIPD Level 5 qualified or equivalent by experience
  • Ability to provide coaching and guidance to senior managers to achieve effective resolution across a full range of people-related queries and challenges
