Job Title: Procurement Manager

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join our team at Eden Blake Procurement & Supply Chain Search. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for leading a team of procurement professionals in delivering a first-class procurement service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of 11 procurement professionals in central procurement, central procurement data, and compliance and quality
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to maximize commercial value for our clients
  • Manage procurement frameworks and consultancy services for a range of categories, including indirect areas such as office supplies, print, and vehicles
  • Work closely with the Head of Procurement to ensure compliance with public sector procurement regulations and processes
  • Collaborate with the central procurement data team to analyze data and identify opportunities for cost savings and commercialization
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a Head of Procurement, Procurement Manager, or Category Manager role
  • Excellent leadership and motivational skills, with a track record of growing and developing teams
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations
  • Knowledge of public sector procurement regulations and processes, with a solid commercial mind
  • MCIPS or equivalent qualification desirable
What We Offer:
  • Base salary of £62,000 to £65,000

  • Hybrid working arrangement with 3 days in the office in Warrington
  • 25 days holiday plus statutory leave, with the option to buy/sell up to 5 days
