As an HLTA, you will have the chance to work across a variety of primary schools in Selby, providing high-quality support to pupils and teachers on a supply basis. Responsibilities

">

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing classroom support and cover for teachers, delivering small group interventions or 1:1 support for pupils, and supporting the delivery of engaging lessons in line with the curriculum. They will also be expected to collaborate with teaching staff to foster a positive learning environment and adapt to various schools, classes, and year groups with confidence.

Requirements

">

To be successful in this role, you will need to hold HLTA status or equivalent qualifications, have previous experience working within primary education (EYFS, KS1, and/or KS2), and be confident in delivering planned lessons in the teacher's absence. You will also need to demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills, be adaptable, reliable, and passionate about supporting children's education.
