Our team is looking for a skilled Crane Mechanic to join our dynamic engineering team based in our Birmingham depot.

We offer a competitive salary of £35,000 per year, plus benefits such as a generous holiday package, group life assurance, and a solid pension plan.

In this role, you'll work alongside our skilled Maintenance Supervisor and Fitters to ensure our cranes are in prime condition at all times. You'll be responsible for:

• Assisting with servicing, repairs, and breakdown maintenance of cranes to uphold our high standards of safety and performance
• Maintaining accurate service records and providing technical advice to minimize downtime
• Collaborating with operations to schedule repairs and procure necessary materials
• Continuously seeking ways to improve processes and efficiency within the role

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• Previous experience maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing faults with heavy machinery
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to maintenance tasks
