Thomas Middlecott Academy is recruiting for a dedicated and skilled individual to fill the role of Caretaker. As a key member of our site management team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the safety and security of our students, staff, and visitors.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Site Management: ensuring the school premises are safe and secure, and that all maintenance and repairs are carried out promptly
  • Contractor Control: overseeing the work of contractors on site and ensuring compliance with statutory testing requirements
  • Health and Safety Management: identifying and mitigating potential risks to the health and safety of staff and students
  • Building Maintenance: carrying out routine maintenance and repairs to the school buildings and grounds
  • Security and Asset Management: ensuring the security of school assets and property

In exchange for your expertise and commitment, you will receive a salary of approximately £24,000-£30,000 per annum, plus a range of benefits, including:
