Job Summary

The Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Acute Medical Unit team. As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working closely with our experienced team of physicians and other healthcare professionals.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assess patient care needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Supervise junior staff and participate in the teaching of students
  • Maintain personal and professional development
  • Participate in effective resource utilization and adhere to the NMC Professional Code of Conduct

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will have the chance to develop your skills and expertise as a nurse. Our Acute Medical Unit has 50 inpatient beds, and all patients are triaged on arrival and cared for in the most appropriate setting.

Requirements

  • Current NMC PIN to practice as a Registered Nurse or Midwife in the UK
  • Enrolled on a course leading to a full NMC PIN, with expected completion within 3 months
