About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic pharmacist to join our Infection & Immunity team at Barts Health NHS Trust. As a Highly Specialist Pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered pharmacy services to GUM/Sexual reproductive health & hepatitis C patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical pharmacy services to HIV patients, including evaluated information on drug expenditure.
  • Lead on projects and undertake service reviews to improve pharmacy services.
  • Develop leadership, governance, and research skills through various opportunities.
  • Contribute to education and training for pharmacists and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements

  • Experience of providing a hospital-based service to HIV patients at band 7 level or equivalent.
  • Excellent knowledge of the medical management of HIV patients and a sound knowledge of drug and therapeutics at Diploma level or equivalent.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work to deadlines, with clinical appraisal skills.
