Job Summary

As a Library Team Assistant at Shared Services Partnership, you will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service to our clients. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with the management of stock, planning and delivering activities for children, and carrying out a wide range of administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a welcoming environment for all clients, promoting our services and encouraging more people to read a range of authors and book titles.
  • Assist with the management of stock, including receiving and processing new materials.
  • Plan and deliver activities for children, including storytime sessions and other events.
  • Carry out a wide range of administrative duties, including answering phone calls and responding to emails.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve our goals and objectives.

Requirements
  • A good general education combined with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • A good standard of IT skills, ideally with some qualifications and experience.
  • The ability to use your own initiative when required, and to work independently as well as part of a team.
